BEST THINGS TO DO DURING MERCURY RETROGRADE

Do you find yourself feeling slow, sluggish or frustrated that you can’t seem to be making progress FORWARD?

Does it seem like no matter how hard you try, you cannot move? Then you might want to check the stars and the astrological calendars….because it might be the “dreaded Mercury Retrograde”!

I used to be such a skeptic, but after seeing so many people struggle at once, during DISTINCT periods of time, I realized…there might be more to it…

So, despite it’s bad rap, mercury retrograde doesn’t need to be THAT bad. 

The truth is ‘We Make it Bad”. How so? Well…we often RESIST the direction…we are swimming upstream…we are trying to move forward, when the retrograde period is asking us to…LOOK BACK!

SO… I am learning to embrace these periods of communication mishaps, technology snafus, and SLOW movement…how? 

Here’s my list…

DON’TS

I will simply list a bullet point list…the idea is that doing anything in which you are moving FORWARD during this period is going to feel challenging and hard. As though you are swimming upstream. You could start something new with an established relationship for example, as long as it’s not the BIG OPENING, BIG LAUNCH or any of the sort. Many people still do it. It’s just that the energy isn’t flowing that direction and things will feel much harder. 

• Don’t launch a New Product or Service

• Don’t Sign New Contracts

• Don’t Make BIG purchases

• Don’t Make BIG Life Decisions

• Don’t Start New Relationships

• Don’t Start a New Business

HERE’S MY LIST OF DO’S

• Reflect on what you have done- Congratulate for what has gone well, and make notes on what needs to be improved. 

• Review or Revamp your work- for instance I am going through some of my trainings and re-vamping and re-establishing them or moving them to better platforms. 

• Re-configure things - Again a great time to re-configure your business, or your house, or your habits. To figure out what doesn’t work and to throw it out. 

• Clean out your house, office, car, life, limiting beliefs…basically LET GO. ANYTHING that you can let go of that is accumulating dust and holding you back from greatness. 

• Go Inward- Since it’s not the most auspicious time to move forward, it is a great time to become introspective. To think and to write and to evaluate what has gone well and what needs to change. 

• Finish- There are a slew of unfinished things, that for some reason or another I didn’t quite get all the way completed. Well this is the perfect time for that. 

• Go Back- Through documents, agreements, and actions I need to take I may have put off that need to finished and completed. 

• Let go- of whatever is no longer serving me at the moment. Setting an intention to let go of limiting beliefs, negative thoughts and energies, maladaptive habits, and ineffective actions. 

• Go with the Flow- This is the best time to go with the flow. Let go of the hustle. Notice and tune into how you feel. If you are feeling down, don’t try to force things. Take things as they come. You will be happier and spend way less energy and are less likely to end up frustrated. 

• Look & Research- for the people, places & things, that will allow and support me in moving forward next year! This is the time to look for coaches, masterminds, tools (many of them have sales now), and do your research as to whom you want to work with, and what kind of support you need. (Even if you sign up in January, you may want to reach out and get into conversations now, because believe it or not, they may get filled up!)
