Just take a moment to answer the question...Honestly…

 

A few years back, I would have NEVER wanted to admit that I was in the 2nd category…it’s hard to recognize and admit when this is happening...

 

Perhaps you know the drill…You wake up in a panic because you have so much to do…you jump out of bed and immediately start running through your laundry list of “to do’s” that incidentally NEVER seem to decrease but only continues to increase?

 

You run from e-mail to e-mail, meeting to meeting…client-to client… respond to things the best you can, eat on the run, or while “networking” with others, and try to cram in as much as you can before you come home, to meet your family, do dinner, etc...

 

but the nagging doesn’t stop…so you slowly inch towards your computer in an attempt to get “one-more-thing-done” so that perhaps your mind can settle and you can catch a few hours of sleep before you start all over again the next day?

 

If you are like me, and the creative type, then getting on your computer late at night is basically the “kiss of death”…this is when my creativity totally explodes, which is awesome…but it also means I get super focused and well…let’s just say that sleeping…gets placed in the really, really, far off back burner….if it’s really bad…you may notice the sun beginning to peer out of the corner of the window the following morning, and then you think..”Oh shit! I didn’t go to sleep!"

 

Yes…It is a little embarrassing to admit and write about it…but the thing is…I KNOW I AM NOT ALONE! I think there are many entrepreneurs out there that get caught in this cycle, and it feels difficult to break!

 

Partly because you ARE SUCCESSFUL you have built this amazing business and everything looks glorious from the outside, looking in. 

 

But when you face the truth, you realize that you are BUSY...busy, caught up in the daily grind of all the things you have to do, all the fires you have to put out, and the never-ending to do list. 

 

You feel important and your ego, gets the validation you need. 

 

But at the end of the day, when it's all said and done, are YOU living YOUR PURPOSE?

 

Are you advancing your soul's mission? Are you fulfilling your calling, your destiny?

 

Or are you simply being successful at pushing all the papers around, and pushing all the right buttons?

 

Are you SOO caught up in the details that your life is litteraly run BY your business?

 

And you have no time to be creative, to be strategic, to envision what is the next step and the next evolution for you and for your business!

 

You don't have time to evaluate and assess what is working and what's not working and to implement new strategies, train your staff of launch Nee initiatives... You are literally being run BY your business. 

 

So STOP!

 

 

Take a moment, grab a pen and paper and reflect...

 

The reality is that we ALL get off-course at one point or another. We need tools, we need knowledge, we need support, we need models, we need community. 

 

Entrepreneurs and high achievers know that in order to keep reaching higher and higher, in order to keep evolving you need to be surrounded by others who are invested in the pursuit of something equally greater for themselves as for others, that when we have community and accountability we perform better, we are more resilient, more successful and make more money than when we try to go at it alone.
